The debate it out! Is it cheating or not cheating to ride an e-bike for a bike event? Here is our stance on whether or not you should be able to ride an e-bike for your next bike event.
Here’s the deal, we are going to lay out all of the facts, and yes, some of them may end up being a little biased, but we are a bike rental company, we can’t help it! At the end of the day, all we care about is getting every person on two wheels to enjoy our great city!
We understand for a bike RACE, that electric bikes should not be permitted, but for a bike event that is simply to raise money and bring people together, why not open up the playing field to everyone. E-bikes are an amazing way to enjoy biking at every age, they just had a little boost to your pedal, and let’s be honest, we all need a little boost sometimes.
