How long is the bike ride from your store to George Washington's Mount Vernon?
You would ride on the Mount Vernon trail for around 18 miles – and it takes roughly an hour and a half!
How does the bike and boat package work?
Our Mount Vernon Bike and Boat package includes a bike rental, access to the grounds of Mount Vernon, and a boat ride back to Washington DC. The boat departs Mount Vernon at 1:30PM and arrives at Pier 4, 580 Water Street SW, Washington DC.
Bike pick up is recommended between 9am-9:30am. You would leave your bikes locked up at Mount Vernon after!
How does the Bike to Mount Vernon Package (Admission included) work?
This package includes a bike rental for the day with an admission ticket to the grounds of Mount Vernon (tour of the mansion tickets can be requested by calling the Mount Vernon estate). Guests can opt to ride back after, or purchase a bike pick up at Mount Vernon so that they can leave the bikes right at the estate and depart as needed.
