FAQs

How much is it to rent a bike in Barcelona?

You can rent a bike by the hour or for the full day with Unlimited Biking! Unlimited Biking’s DayPass Rental is $45 and includes a helmet, bike lock, bike bag and map! Everything you need for an all day adventure!

What is included with my bike rental?

Every bike rental includes a high-quality bike, a helmet, a bike lock, a handlebar bag, and a map to help you explore the city.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

While wearing a helmet is not mandatory for adults in Spain, we highly recommend it for your safety. Helmets are provided with all bike rentals, and we encourage you to wear one while riding. For children, helmets are required by law, and we provide them for young riders as well. Safety first!

Can I rent an electric bike?

Of course! Rent an electric bike for an extra boost to your next ride! Riders must be 16+ years old and minors must have an adult present with them to rent.

Is it easy to bike around Barcelona?

Yes, Barcelona is a very bike-friendly city! The city has a growing network of bike lanes, dedicated cycling paths, and bike-sharing stations, making it easy to navigate. The relatively flat terrain and pleasant weather also make cycling an enjoyable way to explore the city. You can bike along the beach, through iconic neighborhoods like El Born and Gothic Quarter, and even visit landmarks such as Park Güell or the Sagrada Familia. While traffic can be busy in some areas, Barcelona is increasingly becoming more accessible for cyclists of all levels.
