You can rent a bike by the hour or for the full day with Unlimited Biking! Unlimited Biking’s DayPass Rental is $45 and includes a helmet, bike lock, bike bag and map! Everything you need for an all day adventure!

What is included with my bike rental?

Every bike rental includes a high-quality bike, a helmet, a bike lock, a handlebar bag, and a map to help you explore the city.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

While wearing a helmet is not mandatory for adults in Paris, we highly recommend it for your safety. Helmets are provided with all bike rentals, and we encourage you to wear one while riding. For children, helmets are required by law, and we provide them for young riders as well. Safety first!

Can I rent an electric bike?

Of course! Rent an electric bike for an extra boost to your next ride! Riders must be 16+ years old and minors must have an adult present with them to rent.

Is biking in Paris easy?

Biking in Paris is relatively easy and becoming more convenient due to the city’s growing bike infrastructure. Paris offers an extensive network of bike lanes, dedicated cycling paths, and bike-sharing services like Velib’, making it a great city for cycling. The city’s flat terrain and compact size also make it well-suited for cycling, allowing you to easily navigate through popular spots like the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, and the Marais district.

Can you ride a bike on the sidewalk in Paris?

In Paris, riding a bike on the sidewalk is generally not allowed for adults unless it is specifically marked as a shared bike-and-pedestrian path. Cyclists are expected to use bike lanes or the road, depending on availability. Children under 8 years old are allowed to ride on the sidewalk, but they should still be cautious and ride safely. Always be mindful of local signage and respect pedestrian areas to ensure both your safety and the safety of others.
