We love the Trastevere neighborhood during the evening.  This is a lively but laid-back part of town that is not to be missed, and best visited as the workday comes to an end. You will see locals meeting up for a drink, families bringing their kids out to play before bedtime, and plenty of people enjoying the cool evening air. This neighborhood is home to some of the best, local restaurants, bars, and terraces that never cease to be empty.

After we make our way through this charming part of town, we will circle around and visit the medieval and Catholic areas of the city, admiring a stunning view of St. Peter’s Basilica beautifully illuminated. We have found the perfect overlook to enjoy some drinks ourselves! Your guide will bring along a bit of local Tuscan wine to enjoy as we peer out over the Vatican, all while the sun is setting above.

There are a few other breathtaking sites whose beauty is amplified during the golden hour. We will get a chance to stop at the Spanish Steps and ride down one of the fanciest streets in town, via Condotti.
