Important information
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure
- All guests must be at least 7 years of age or older to participate
- DressCode: in order to enter the Cathedral, guests have to be covered from shoulders to knees. As an active place of worship, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore requires guests to have their shoulders and knees covered. It is sufficient to bring along a light scarf or cardigan to cover exposed parts (shoulders, thighs, stomach etc) on prior to entering the holy areas
- Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in the church. Lockers are provided
- Not allowed to utilize selfie sticks in the museum, cathedral or dome climb
- Recommended to wear flat,comfortable shoes. There are 463 stairs to climb to the rooftop viewing deck.
- Please note that this tour is not advised for people who have tendencies of claustrophobia or fear of heights
