The gardens of Versailles have been held up as the standard of French gardening for ages, and you will see why. Stand at the grande perspective and take in the entirety of the grounds, including the Grand Canal and the 2,000 acres of forestland. Mosey through the groves with your guide leading the way and learn about why King Louis XIV designed them each in their particular way before heading into the Chateau to discover the interior at your leisure.

Meeting Point
10 Avenue du Général de Gaulle, 78000 Versailles
Exit the train station at Versailles Château Rive Gauche (several stations say “Versailles” make sure it’s this one), and walk into McDonalds. Exit out the back right door and walk through the mall past the video game stores to the corner shop full of bikes.

We highly recommend using public transportation to get to the meeting point as car traffic is quite dense in this area.

- We require the full names and ages of all guests as this allows us to ensure timed entry into the palace.
- All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and carry proof of age documentation.
- This tour involves quite a lot of walking and we do not offer golf carts. Please wear comfortable shoes.
- Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Many of the paths in Versailles are unpaved and rough, and may present difficulty for wheelchair users.
- This tour does not include a lunch stop. You will enter the chateau around mid-day. Guests usually spend around an hour inside, meaning your lunch break will possibly be quite late. Your guide will be happy to recommend places to eat after your tour.

- Please provide one credit card and one government-issued ID to be retained as a deposit for the duration of the tour
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.
