Free Helmets

As you may know, participation in the Pan-Mass Challenge requires that everyone must wear a helmet for the duration of the ride. For your convenience, every one of our rentals comes with a Cannondale helmet at no additional charge.

Pick-Up and Drop - off Convenience

When booking a bicycle with Unlimited Biking for the Pan-Mass Challenge riders will pick up their bikes at the start line and then drop-off with our on-site team at the finish line. No need to haul your rental to/from the ride!

Pedal Installment and Seat Adjustments

Our bikes come equipped with standard flat pedals to meet the needs of most riders. If you prefer your own pedals, we're happy to install them for you—just remember to bring them along when you pick up your bike.

Our on-site team is also available to assist with seat adjustments, ensuring your bike is comfortable and ready for the ride!

About

Each summer, thousands of riders, volunteers and supporters gather for a bike-a-thon across Massachusetts on the first weekend in August with a common mission: raise funds to fight cancer in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The PMC is a fully supported bike-a-thon that provides riders with fundraising tools and guidance, meals and snacks at hub sites and waterstops along routes, mechanical and medical assistance, and luggage, bike and rider transportation.

This support allows riders to focus on why they’re riding: to fund cancer research and provide Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.

How does it work?

Disassemble your bike and ship it to our professional team of mechanics, who will rebuild and tune it to your specifications, deliver it directly to the event, and disassemble it again after the event for return shipping

Concierge Tune-Up Options

Basic Tune-Up
Our basic tune-up ensures all major systems of your bike are adjusted, safe, and functional—ideal after wear or storage when parts still have life but need adjustment—and includes gear, brake, and bearing adjustments, wheels trued laterally, and a full safety check.

Deluxe Tune-Up
Our deluxe tune-up prepares your bike for another year of daily use, recommended for frequent riders or when your drivetrain has started to wear out, including everything from a basic tune-up plus drivetrain and frame cleaning, wheels trued laterally and radially, and labor for part replacement.The Overhaul Tune-Up
Our most thorough service offering includes everything from the Deluxe tune-up, plus stripping the bike down to the frame with meticulous cleaning, re-lubrication, and prepping of all components, along with overhauling or replacing all bearings and replacing cables and housing, as well as any necessary frame alterations.
